A. Baldwin was a Salvation Army Captain who was in town in 1889.
Sources Found
His stay is recorded in the Evening Telegram that May and in the War Cry that May and June. The War Cry entrees are his reports on the town.
Sources Sought I found reference to this man on a historical Facebook page for Greens Pond which places him there in 1890. I should reach out to them and the Salvation Army to see if I can’t find his first name and inquire about any written material of his that still remains.
I could also contact the Salvation Army archives to inquire about any original documents or pictures of the man.
When I get around to doing a piece on Little Bay’s Salvation Army I’ll make use of his referenced writings.
