The Walbourne family came to Little Bay from Change Island sometime after the birth of Samuel Walbourne (1883-1937).
Sources:
1898 – Arch Walbourne was a labourer at Shoal Arm (McAlpine’s)
1904 – Herbert Walbourne was a fisherman living at South Side, Little Bay (McAlpine’s)
1911 – Samuel Walbourne was living with his mother June and Herbert who was listed as step son. He can’t be Samuel’s step son due to age so I’m assuming he’s June’s step son (Census)
1912, April 14 – Samuel Walbourne married Sarah English. He was a lumberman. They were Salvation Army (Newfoundland marriage registers)
1921 – Samuel and Sarah living with their children at Ward’s Harbour (Census)
1935 – Found living in Corner Brook (Census)
1937 – Death of Samuel Walbourne in Corner Brook (Headstone)
