Sources Sought

None of the sources I’ve found confirm this family lived in town with any certainty. They all involve business that could be external.

I suspect the Baird’s have an operation providing goods from St. John’s to Twillingate and local businessmen like Lamb and Strong interact with them.

William Baird was certainly in town as witness in the 1890 forgery case but I suspect just visiting. I’d like to dig a little deeper into it after I’ve figured out Silk and Rowsell. I have other cases of forgery. Perhaps they’ll contribute to larger piece down the road on Little Bay’s forgers.
