1893, Jan – Johannah Baker married Richard Bouzan (Vit stats)

1893, March – Anastatia Baker born to Solomon and Mary (Vit stats)

1893 – Charles, Edward, and Solomon Baker living at Little Bay (Voter’s list)

1895, Nov – Edward Baker witness at wedding (Vit stats)

1895 – Reuben and Job Baker signed for sir Robert Bond

1898 – Phlip, Edw, Chas, and Wm J were fishermen and Solomon Baker was school master. All living in St. Patrick’s (McAlpine’s)

1904 – Charles, Solomon, Francis, and John Baker were fishermen. Philip Baker was a miner. All living at St. Patrick’s (McAlpine’s)

1904 – Charles and Philip Baker lost most in the fire

1911 – John Baker on the road board (Almanac)

1911 – Joseph and Solomon’s families present (Census)

My earliest reference to this family is from 1892 which is rather late. I’d like to place their arrival.

I still need to check the genealogical sites for this family.

The Baker family remains in town so local oral history on the clan could be helpful.

With luck one of those avenues will provide some pictures.
